Olave Jeevana Lekkachaara.. Nagathihalli Chandrashekar’s directorial venture is a story about how a young man spoils his LOVE and his LIFe by heeding advise of other people.
In the movie a poor student(Kitty) falls in love with a rich girl(Radhika Pandit). But he is mislead
by his teacher who advises him wrongly on almost every fact of LIFE. And the hero beleives his words to the core only be mislead further. Due to this the hero runs away from the heroine and leads a idiotic lonely life in the city, only to be enlightened one fine day about the real LIFE.
The highlight of the movie is Rangayana Raghu who as a lecturer gives the almost non-existent angles to LOVE and LIFE by his witty dialogues. At one time even i was made to believe the preaching he gave to Kitty were true. Such is the weight of his character. Hats off to Nagathihalli for those kind of dialogues. Music by ManoMurthy is on the downfall, without any catchy tunes.
And about the climax, which was widely publicized as the highlight is unconvincing and too predictable when compared to the rest of the story.
And one more speciality of the movie is that RED colour has been used in every single frame of the movie, although i did manage to find some frames without the red colour.
Finally the movie is a must watch for anyone.
DEV D- Worth watching once, a must for anyone who has loved.
DELHI 6- A movie with a heart, can give it a try.
FAST AND THE FURIOUS 4- Watch it for the stunts, witty dialogues, the storyline’s pretty ordinary.
ARUNDATHI- Movie with black magic n stuffs, watch it for Anushka
KICK- Filled with comedy, childish most of the time(only for DIE-HARD telugu fans).
Rajakumari, Balaji(Ravichandran’s brother) has returned to the silver screen after a long gap. His earlier movies were aham premasmi and thunta. Director Govindaraj has selected a good story. The movie is a triangular(rectangular) love story. There is a good blend of romance, humour and sentiment in the movie. The hero falls in love with a girl whos disguised herself as a widow. Another girl, nikitha(of vamshi fame) falls in love with the hero. There’s a lot of twists and turns in the story. The first half is dumb except for some comedy. The second half is lively. Rangayana Raghu steals the show as the house owner.Bullet Prakash is okay. Ravichandran comes and goes in the second half. Btw he’s still got fans. It was very much evident by the crowd reaction when he enters the scene. Music by Harikrishna is average.
Birugaali, director Harsha’s movie after NEAT movie like geleya is not up to the expectations. Aa Dinagalu fame Chetan is the male lead of the movie and he too has failed to live upto expectations. The movie’s about a village boy, who lost his mother, helping the people of the village in which he grew up. In his attempt to provide his people better standards of living the hero becomes involved in underworld activities. And there’s a romantic touch to the movie in form of a triangular love story. His childhood friend is in love with in him and he inturn falls love with another girl. And the love story tells people how exactly NOT to love. The hero doesnt even talk to her and starts building his own dreamy castles in air. And there’s also a sentimental touch with the hero’s mother searching for her son. The first half of the movie is too dull. The second half is saved only because of the moral told at the end. The climax is okay. 3 songs by Arjun are okay. Chetan has to improve. The director’s better off doing movies like geleya. Kishore shines as a police officer. Comedy fails to bring any laughter.
Yogeesh(Loose Maada) is the hero of the movie AMBAARI,which literally means Chariot.Director Arjun has selected a good story
for his directorial debut. The story’s not great, but is neatly said.
The story’s about a high class girl falling in love with a BPL boy.
The boy’s attracted towards the girl’s footwear(a la MYSTORY) and eventually both fall in love with each other.
The girl’s parents dont agree and the hero elopes with the girl on his AMBAARI. And the AMBAARI we’re refferring to here is a cycle.
They go places on the cycle with the villains trailing them. The hero does everything to keep the girl happy(fights and duets,as usual). The story ends in a tragedy with the hero dying. But not before he fulfills her dream of seeing Taj Mahal, that too on her birthday.
The first half is lively with punchy dialogues. The second half is kinda boring. Yogeesh’s acting and dancing is okay. Heroine
Supritha is also okay. Rangayana Raghu is wasted.
Harikrishna has scored some catchy tunes. The tapangucchi version of ‘Shake ya body, Move ya body’ brings the crowd alive.
Lyrics by Jayanth Kaykini is meaningfull.
Overall, the movies worth watching once(may be).
Lemme talk about the publicity of the movie. No one knew the cast of the movie, let alone the list of theaters which were releasing it!. May be tats the reason why the crowd was a bit dull. The movie’s been underpublicized Shivrajkumar has once again faltered in his selection and this movie will also join his long list of FLOPS.
The story’s about the hero(a good Samaritan) falling in love with a college girl. The love story’s not cute at all (in fact its UTTERLY ordinary). The girl’s family opposes the love and tries spoiling up the hero’s life. In the meantime the hero becomes involved with the underworld dons. He fights 10 people singlehandedly :-p !. After the hero becomes a criminal the girl rejects the the hero. The hero convinces her to love him again. The hero ESCAPES with the heroine from her marriage function, a car chase followed by a wild goose chase in the jungles(where all-but-one of the hero’s frens die). The duo escape and live happily ever after. And then,
THE END :p
The movies got a blend of some senseless action, some ORDINARY ROMANCE, even more ORDINARY music with meaningless lyrics, some sentiment(a bit too much at times) and some KAAGE dialogues by Shivrajkumar!
The only saving grace of the movie is some comedy by Sharan.
Go, watch the movie only if you got no better work to do!. I didn’t have any today, so went.
